Project Turning The Tide reaches COPENHAGEN

At sunset sailing ships are dancing in the Copenhagen harbour, carrying drummers and international climate activists. During the day TTT offer activist speed-dating, talks, workshops, flag painting, and networking chill out.
At night, we serve free dinner from rescued food, along with live music, dance, networking, and a great view of Copenhagen.

PROGRAM 12th September (details, see below)

2-6.30 pm (kl. 14-18.30) @ Magneten
Meet each other at Magneten, join the crews of Hawila and Lovis, visit the ships and meet local citizens, international activists and artists. Encounter and share new ideas, make new friends, inspiration and network.
There will be open spaces and talks, workshops, music, dance and art.
At 6.30 ships sail from Magneten w drummers and activists

7-8 pm (kl 19-20) @ Copenhagen Harbor
Sailing ships Hawila and Lovis will sail a ‘dance of ships’ in the Copenhagen Harbor, accompanied by a multitude of drummers. Ships can be seen, and heard,  between Skuespilhuset, Langelinie, Little Mermaid and Refshaleøen.
It’s a ’wake up, act now’ sail, reminding us that our planet can not wait, that we want to be part of change, now.
The ships and their crew have been traveling together from Germany to Aarhus and Copenhagen, by wind.

8pm (kl 20) @ Magneten
We serve a communal dinner from rescued food

9pm-midnight @ Magneten
Live music, acoustic jams, dance, chill, network
